Growing up, I was the definition of disorganized. My closet was a disaster, my desk was always cluttered, and I had no idea what I needed for school from one day to the next. It felt like my entire life was in chaos, and it seemed like nothing could help. That is until my wife Kate stepped in with her organizational skills and showed me how being organized can make your life so much better.

What Kate taught me is that if you don't take the time to get organized now, it will be much harder down the road. If you're not prepared, there's no way you'll be successful in any area of your life- whether it's fitness, nutrition, business or relationships. And with that realization came a newfound appreciation for organization.

When it comes to getting organized, there are a few key steps that have been essential for me. The first step is understanding what needs to be done- this means taking inventory of what tasks need to be completed on a daily basis and setting specific goals for each task. Once you know what needs to be done, the next step is creating an action plan- this involves breaking down each task into smaller more manageable pieces so that each goal can be achieved efficiently and effectively. Lastly, it's important to create systems and processes- having an effective filing system or calendar will make it easier to stay on track and stay organized going forward.

In addition to creating systems and processes for myself, I've also found technology can be incredibly helpful when it comes to staying organized. There are countless apps available these days that make tracking tasks easier than ever before- whether its reminders sent directly through email or text message or even virtual calendars that sync across multiple devices- technology has made being organized simpler than ever before!

Overall, I'm really glad that my wife Kate helped me learn how beneficial being organized can be in every aspect of life. Of course I still have a long way to go when it comes to becoming truly organized but the small improvements I've made have already made such a difference in my day-to-day life! For anyone else who struggles with organization like I did (or still do), don't give up hope! With some patience and dedication you too can learn how great being organized can feel!
