Setting both short and long term goals are EXTREMELY important. If you haven't taken the time to think about your goals and to get them down on paper, I strongly suggest you make the time to do so.
However, you stopping there would be a complete waste of time. If you are simply results oriented, you're setting yourself up for failure. Trust me, I was guilty of this for along time. It wasn't until I shifted my focus to my daily systems that everything changed.
By reverse engineering my goals into a daily system where I simply need to complete three tasks, I'm able to consistently set and achieve short term goals on the way to my long term goals. This is a power of a SYSTEM!
