“You can’t turn back the clock. But you can wind it up again.”

This is one of my favorite quotes about time, because it's a reminder that no matter how young or old you are, or what you've been through in the past, you have the power to start over today.

Time can be a powerful tool if used correctly, but more often than not I see time as nothing more than a source of stress, anxiety, and depression. We get stuck in a depressive state when we can't get out of the past. We start to feel stress and anxiety when we're looking too far into the future.

Setting a deadline to achieve goals can be a powerful use of time as long as we get started with the right mindset, but so many people don't which ends up setting themselves up for failure.

We all have 168 hours in a week, and we make time for what we prioritize.

3 hours per week is .017% of your time. That's LESS than 2%! This is what you need to be able to prioritize for your health and fitness so that you can start to feel better, have more energy and start adding years to your life.

There was a study that found that for each hour you exercise, you add 3 hours on to your life. If that doesn't motivate you to get up and go for a walk, I don't know what will!

If you can make strength training a part of your weekly routine just 1.7% of your weekly time, and start learning about how to lose weight without changing what you're eating, you'll start to reap the benefits very quickly!

My most recent client lost 4 lbs of fat in her first two weeks by adding strength training and making simple adjustments to her nutrition. Some have lost up to 8lbs in their first two weeks!

I want you to feel the benefits that strength training, consistent exercise and improved nutrition bring to your entire life. You'll find yourself in a better mood and having more energy for family, friends, and at work. Your body will begin to ache less and you'll start to get excited about your strength training.

The hardest part is getting started.

I get it. It's a little scary and intimidating. You might not feel too good about yourself right now, and you don't want to feel judged or look stupid doing something you don't have much experience with.

I guarantee you once you step inside our gym, you'll feel so much more welcome and comfortable than you ever thought you could.

The first step is to schedule a quick (5 min) info call so I can learn more about you, your goals and how we can help you. The next step from there is to come in for a free consultation so you can get a feel for our space to see if it might be the right fit for you.

Best case scenario you come in and are surprised as to how comfortable you feel and get started on a program that will change your life. Worst case scenario, you come in, get a free session, and decide it's not the right fit.

Either way, I hope you make the time for just 3 hours of exercise per week, and start becoming mindful of your nutrition. The benefits on your mood, energy and overall quality (and duration) of life are absolutely profound, and they happen immediately!

Have a great one today!

-Steve
