The other day I woke up late and needed to rush out the door for a meeting. I was really hungry so I snagged a bagel on my way out and slammed it down on the way...
We've all been there right?
The bagel did seem to relieve my morning hunger, but not long into the meeting my stomach started rumbling. I knew this would happen and I still did it!
One of the reasons why I still felt so hungry was because I didn't have any protein. Most people either gain weight or have trouble losing it because the foods they're eating don't keep them full. This is why we always suggest getting some type of protein first thing in the morning.
Why you should have more protein in the morning:
1. Helps you stay satisfied longer.
2. Boosts your metabolism.
3. Helps stabilize your blood sugar.
