 In my 15 years of coaching, I’ve learned there’s one thing consistently sets successful people apart: Routine. Here are three reasons why a routine is vital for mastering health and fitness.

 

1. Establishing Sense of Control

 

A consistent routine empowers you with a sense of control, reducing reactivity. Control breeds confidence and energy, facilitating proactive steps toward fitness goals.

 

2. Building Habits and Momentum

 

Fitness success hinges on habit formation. A regular routine, with set workout times and days, helps transform exercise into an ingrained habit, building unstoppable momentum.

 

3. Reducing Decision Fatigue

 

Constantly deciding when, where, and how to work out leads to decision fatigue, a motivation killer. Embrace a set routine to eliminate unnecessary decisions and stay committed to your fitness journey.

 

Do your best to create a consistent routine as much as your schedule allows. You may have to change some things around in your calendar and take more control over your schedule to make this happen.

 

You’ll always have flexibility to schedule at any time at our gym, but we highly recommend you create a consistent schedule so that it can become routine for you.
