When it comes to achieving goals, most of us avoid the things we don’t like doing. The problem is, those are usually the things that move the needle forward the most. Annoying, right?

We fill our days with “productive” tasks. We cross off 48 things from our to-do list… except the one thing that really matters. At the end of the day, we feel busy, but deep down, we know we didn’t actually make progress.

Here’s the truth: you don’t have to do more. You can actually do less every day if you’re willing to prioritize the one thing you’d rather avoid. That’s where the growth is hiding.

Think about fitness.

  • The magic isn’t in adding another supplement, it’s in showing up consistently.

  • The magic isn’t in doing 10 different workouts, it’s in pushing yourself on the one that challenges you most.

Look at your list today and ask yourself, what’s the one thing I don’t want to do? Then do that first.
