Clayton Mathile
My name is Clayton Mathile and I graduated from the University of Dayton in 2022 with a degree in Sports and Wellness and a concentration in Fitness and Health. My favorite form of exercise is heavy strength training because it gives me great pride in my abilities, and it is a great stress reliever.
What made me want to become a personal trainer?
I have always wanted to be a teacher. When I was around the age of 13 I started strength training and quickly grew a love for lifting heavy weights and showing others how to do the same. I then quickly realized that I was good at teaching people so at the beginning of my Sophomore year of college I attained my ACE personal training certification and I have been a personal trainer since. Beyond Measure has allowed me to flourish as a trainer learning newer techniques and better ways to train.
What is my favorite exercise?
I love the squat! It has always been my best lift, and I truly believe that it is the greatest exercise ever.
What is my least favorite exercise?
I very much dislike the barbell bench press. As much as it sucks I am still willing to do it.
Guilty indulgence?
My favorite food to indulge in are donuts.
Favorite superhero?
I am a huge Batman fan. He is the perfect example of getting knocked down, then getting back up. Being a human in the world of people with superpowers was the coolest thing to me as a kid.
